Why Aloha Homeowners Choose Us
Local Expertise
We work across Aloha and the Portland metro year-round. We know the region's trees, its slopes, and exactly what eight months of rain does to hardware that wasn't chosen for it.
In-House Crews
We never subcontract our core work. Our trained, full-time crews handle design, installation, aiming, and service — consistent quality and one point of accountability.
Built for Oregon
Solid brass and copper fixtures that patina instead of corroding, waterproof silicone-filled connectors instead of twist caps, and properly sized cable. It's why our systems outlast the big-box kits by decades.
Priced Before You Commit
Every project gets a fixture-by-fixture plan and a fixed-price proposal before anything is ordered. No deposits against a bottom-line number and no surprises on the invoice.
About Aloha
Outdoor Lighting in Aloha, OR
Aloha is one of the largest unincorporated communities in Oregon — bigger than many actual cities in the metro — sitting between Beaverton and Hillsboro. Most of its housing went up between the 1970s and the 1990s, which shapes our work here in a specific way: a great deal of the exterior lighting on these properties is either original, long dead, or a patchwork of big-box fixtures added over the years.
That makes Aloha one of our stronger markets for repair, replacement, and honest assessment. We diagnose what's there with a meter, identify whether the transformer, cable, and connectors are worth building on, and tell you plainly whether you're looking at an afternoon of connector repairs or a rebuild. Plenty of Aloha systems need the former; some are past saving, and we say so rather than selling a repair that won't hold.
New work here is straightforward and rewarding — these lots have had decades for landscaping to mature, so there's real material to light. From Butternut Creek and Kinnaman out toward Cooper Mountain and Farmington, contact PDX Outdoor Lighting for a free consultation.
Reviews
What Aloha Homeowners Say
Real reviews from real Aloha-area homeowners. See the difference quality craftsmanship makes.
“Other quotes were a fixture count on paper. These guys walked the yard, explained what each light was doing and why, and the plan matched what we got.”
Landscape & Garden Lighting
Mark R.
Lake Oswego
“Our 1912 Craftsman vanished after dark. They lit the columns and the gable and left everything between them dark. The contrast is the whole thing.”
Architectural & Facade Lighting
Jennifer L.
Irvington, Portland
“Steep lot, and the walk down was dangerous in the wet. Staggered path lights plus lights in the step risers — fewer fixtures than we were quoted elsewhere, better result.”
Path & Walkway Lighting
David S.
West Linn
“Half our system had been dark for two years. They found it in twenty minutes — corroded connectors — and told me the transformer was fine. Could have sold me a new one.”

Landscape & Garden Lighting
Landscape & Garden Lighting
Layered low-voltage lighting through planting beds and specimen shrubs, designed on site at night so the garden reads with depth instead of washing out flat.

Decks, Patios & Outdoor Living
Pergola downlighting, rail and step fixtures, and dimmable zones that keep Portland patios and outdoor kitchens usable well past sunset.
Our Process
How We Work in Aloha
Free Design Consultation
We walk your property with you, talk through what you want the space to feel like after dark, and note the trees, architecture, and pathways worth lighting — no pressure, no obligation.
Your Lighting Plan
We put the design on paper fixture by fixture — what gets lit, from where, with which beam spread — and price it as a fixed proposal. Nothing is ordered and no deposit is taken until you've approved it.
Clean, Low-Voltage Install
Our crews hand-dig and tuck 12-volt cable below grade, set transformers discreetly, and mount solid brass and copper fixtures — with your lawn and beds left the way we found them.
Night Aiming & Ongoing Care
We return after dark to aim every fixture by eye, set your timer or app schedule, and walk the finished system with you — then keep it dialed in with optional annual maintenance.
