Warranty

The components used in our installations — fixtures, transformers, lamps, and controls — are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. Coverage varies by product: solid brass and copper fixtures from the manufacturers we specify typically carry long-term or lifetime warranties against defects, while transformers, LED modules, and smart controls carry their own manufacturer terms. We register your products and handle warranty claims on your behalf.

PDX Outdoor Lighting provides a craftsmanship warranty on all installation work. This covers wiring and connections, cable burial, transformer mounting and sizing, fixture setting, and the aiming and commissioning of your system. Warranty terms are determined on a project-by-project basis depending on scope and site conditions, and the specific terms are set out in your project agreement.

Some items are maintenance rather than warranty. Lamp replacement at end of life, re-aiming after fixtures are disturbed, clearing plant growth that has overtaken a fixture, and lens cleaning are normal upkeep — plants grow fast here and Northwest moss and mineral deposits cloud lenses over a season. Our annual maintenance plans cover all of it on a scheduled visit so nothing degrades unnoticed.

Damage from causes outside the installation — vehicle or mower impact, landscaping and excavation by others, storm and tree-fall damage, or modifications made by another contractor — falls outside the craftsmanship warranty. We'll always repair that work; it's simply billed as service rather than covered.
